Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

It's so hard when someone says..."You want to?"

Today was exhausting. Lot's of wood, sun, paint and labor! It's already 1 in the morning and i woke up today at 7:30 so I'm going to make this quick.

Today me, Billy and Krystal got together to finish building our "cage" and some other stage design elements for High School CCYC. This years theme is Hostage? and we are on the stage design team. So we worked on that altogether from about 8 to 4:30. We were outside forever working on finishing everything. We got it done though and i can't wait to see it all in action. I plan on having some pictures and videos of the event. Stay tuned.

After spending most of the day in the heat and getting drained Aaron came to the church and we played a couple games of ping pong, actually i beat him 3 games in a row. Haha. After we were done we actually just walked over to the couches in theLOFT and sat down for a while and just relaxed. It was very pleasant. He originally came to the church to go play disc golf when me and Billy were done. But we kept asking ourselves if we still wanted to do it. In our tired, lazy moods we still got up and went and played a round of disc golf at Meadowbrook. There was a slight difference in this game than any other time we have played at Meadowbrook and that was we had decided to move up to the advanced tees. To make a long story short they are most definitely harder (not all of them but majority) but a lot funner. I actually lost my disc twice and the second time it stayed where it was and i have to go look for it tomorrow. We had to stop at 15 cause it was so dark. But through 14 i was only 7 over on the advanced tees. I was very pleased.

After that me and Aaron got some grub, went home and just chilled for a while. We watched a little basketball playoffs and the first Rush Hour. There was a lot of relaxation. Now it's late and i am absolutely exhausted and i am going to bed because i am slowly falling asleep as i write this. Night!

P.S. I don't have to wake up early....Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa baby!

No i don't want to!

It's to late for this...i need to be asleep!

Today was a little harder. It's the most I've heard about it in a long time. It's big right now. It's all around me. But i have to keep fighting the urge. I can do it.

Today was a slow/not super busy but productive. We had our staff meeting like every normal Tuesday. It was a good meeting and actually i would have to say it was one of our shortest meetings ever! I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was. Either way we got a lot accomplished in such a short time. After the staff meeting me, Chris and Jordan ate some lunch and hung out for a little while.

Patrick and Ashley came around lunch time and me, Chris and Patrick worked on some CCYC stuff...which is coming around (even though there has been some last minute touches). It's going to be a great conference and a lot of work has gone into the planning of this event. Which actually helps transition me into what we did tonight for theWIRE. We only had a few students again tonight but it was good because we worked some more on the drama part of the conference which we are having our High School small group help out with. So we just focused/worked on that for theWIRE. I must say (even though it too was last min.) it is looking good! The teens are going to do a great job. These skits could easily be some of the most encouraging, spiritual, inspiring part of the conference. I can't wait to see it in full swing.

After me, Aaron and Katey were hanging out in theLOFT for a few mins., actually waiting for Brenden to come get his book bag that he left (surprise), and Aaron gets a concerned call from his mom. Long story short Maria thought she heard someone come in the house but there was no one here. That's why she was concerned and why we rushed home. Everything was good and we all checked to make sure no one was in the house. But it was a little scary at first. After that the rest of my night consisted of hanging out with Aaron, watching a little basketball and checking out some new bands and some new music online. It was good to have a brodeo after having been gone for about a week.

Today was good, a little different, but productive! But now that it is almost 2 in the morning (and should have been in bed a long time ago. I'm an idiot cause i have to be up at 7 and at the church by 8) it is time to pass out...so...peace out!

I have to just resist the urge...be strong even when it's at it's greatest potential. It won't be as long as it has been!

I hate not having internet!

It's getting a lot smoother everyday, a lot easier. At the same time i haven't been around it as much. But it's moving right along! One of the greatest decisions of my life!

Sooooooooo.......I've been kind of a slacker/haven't had internet in a long time and i haven't blogged in a WHILE. But i didn't want to get to far behind so i just wanted to post a little something to get myself back on track. I'm also not going to recap briefly everyday and everything from last week. Not to say that there wasn't some awesome things that happened or i had an uneventful week, it's just to much. One i don't think i can remember all that and two that's a lot of stuff to type. I will however tomorrow have some videos that will "sort of" recap things that have happened in the last week.

So very briefly (today):
-I'm in the gym at MACU about to play some pick-up-ball
-Been involved with lots of things at River Day (we won the staff/student softball game, first time in forever)
-Watching the Cavs game at 8
-Driving to Greenville

That's today in a nutshell. There will be more posts and videos to come!

I hope things will stay this easy...i like it better that way!
